Both full-day beginner and advanced React Native workshops will be held at the Benson Hotel! We’ll provide breakfast and lunch for attendees, along with teaching assistants to ensure your questions get answered and your problems solved.

Beginner Track: Full Day Workshop
Intro to React Native
Whether you’ve never worked with React Native before or you’d like to bone up on the basics, our beginner track workshop offers a solid foundation. We’ll cover everything from setting up your computer to choosing the right React Native tools for your projects. This workshop will be taught by the expert React Native team of Infinite Red.

Advanced Track: Two Half-Day Workshops
Building Apps for Windows 10 With React Native
In Part 1, you'll learn how to utilize VS Code and App Center to bring React Native apps to market faster, and how to build great React Native experiences for Windows 10 and desktop. Together we will build a great React Native experience for desktop and beyond. This React Native training will be taught by Eric Rozell and Patrick Nikoletich of Microsoft.

Controlling Your Smart Home Devices With React Native
You’ll create your own React Native app to interact with smart products. Learn how to connect your app to bluetooth devices, reverse engineer existing smart products, and write an app to control a smart lightbulb. Controlling Your Smart Home Devices With React Native will be taught by Vlad Novick.

The price for each workshop track—with the conference and all other fees included—is $1,099. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to workshop students.

The workshops will be held at the beautiful Benson Hotel just five minutes away from the Gerding Theater at the Armory, where the conference will be on July 12 and 13. The Benson Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to shopping, dining, and entertainment in the Pearl District, Pioneer Square, and downtown.
