Infinite Red

For more than a decade, Infinite Red has been working with leading companies to design, build, and ship their React Native apps. Several faces on our team might be familiar. We're the voices behind React Native Radio, the team who created Ignite, and the hosts of the wildly popular Chain React Conference. We believe in providing expertise without ego, and that's why we're often referred to as the friendly team of React Native experts.

Jed Bartausky

Project Manager

Jed is a detail-oriented project manager excelling in organization and communication. He ensures our projects stay on time and on budget by working with our clients and team to define product requirements, then managing the tasks as they naturally evolve through the project lifecycle. He is passionate about getting better every day and helping others.

Jenna Fucci

Senior Designer

location pin icon
Denver, CO

Jenna is the designer who jumps into documentation at the start of a project and secretly loves it. She’s a proponent of efficiency in design and enjoys collaborating across departments to achieve a holistic and unified product. Design is also a passion for Jenna outside of work, and she can frequently be found in antique shops. She collects foxes—fox-related objects, not literal foxes! Jenna’s heard that she has a green thumb, but her succulents have said otherwise.

Bryan Stearns

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Bryan started his tech career working at the first computer store in the world. He has since worked for Apple, Microsoft, and a few other companies before landing at Infinite Red. Since the Web 1.0 days he’s focused on the backend—lately in Elixir, though he enjoys React Native too. He is passionate about always continuing to learn. Bryan’s notable skills and achievements include volunteering at a local historic movie theatre, opening champagne with a sword, visiting Montana for exactly 4 seconds, and witnessing the filming of the infamous “jumping the shark” scene from Happy Days.

Carlin Isaacson

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Carlin is a proficient engineer who specializes in polished user interfaces. From his years in construction to his current profession constructing software, he meticulously researches his projects before starting in order to create an intuitive experience. He also has a powerful ability to complete challenging long-haul tasks and to bring a new perspective to a difficult problem. Carlin built the house where he lives with his wife and three children, raising chickens, making homebrew kombucha, and woodworking. He and his family love camping and spending time together.

Dan Edwards

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Greenville, SC

Dan is a pro when it comes to solving those head-scratching problems on a project that get more complicated by the minute. It doesn’t intimidate him though – he pushes himself to understand the problem inside and out so he can share that with the team in a way that’s simple and straightforward. When he’s not deep in the woods on his latest code, Dan is trying hard to be a recovering coffee snob (the Portland group knows this all too well), renovating his home (his favorite hobby), and spending time with his family in the outdoors of South Carolina.

Darin Wilson

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
San Francisco, CA

Darin has been a professional software developer long enough for his career to have its own college degree. His main focus is web development (Ruby/Rails and Elixir/Phoenix), and he has worked on apps for everything from banking to social media to robotic arms. A personal highlight was working on a news-focused mobile app that provided deeper context for headlines. In another life, Darin was a composer for film, theatre, TV, dance, and radio ads. He still composes and plays piano, and great music will always be one of his biggest inspirations.

Derek Greenberg

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
San Francisco, CA

Derek brings over 20 years of development experience across a wide range of languages and platforms, including Ruby On Rails, React.js, and React Native. He excels at complex solutions, like his Harvest Integration plugin for Invision using Tampermonkey, which greatly improved our design team’s workflow. A native Californian, Derek is married with a college-age daughter. He’s an enthusiastic cook and foodie as well as a professional musician. Ask him about the time he met Yoko Ono!

Frank Calise

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Bluffton, SC

Frank is the type of software engineer that knows how to navigate his way around the inner workings of a project. He’s all about tracking metrics and making measurable improvements. With a background in compliance software, he can breeze through complexities others find intimidating. Perhaps that’s why he also feels at home in the gym bodybuilding or learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu – he likes focusing on the small details that add up to big wins. Originally from New York, it’s no surprise that Frank is always on the lookout for a good slice of pizza or a shot of espresso (something he may not find until he visits Portland, at least according to our west coast group).

Harris Robin Kalash

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Montreal, QC

Harris is so kind and friendly, it's no surprise his nomad ways have landed him in Canada. He has all the maple syrup you'll ever need for a full-stack solution on any pancake or project. Characterized by wisdom that spans multiple programming and even spoken languages, you can depend on his drive to teach himself everything from cutting edge React Native to piloting drones. Harris is our human one-stop-shop companion for solving any technical challenge.

You know your project is going to be a success when your team has Jon Major and a full cup of coffee.

Joshua Yoes

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Josh has a special talent for battle testing his code as a software engineer. Don’t believe us? He once wrote hundreds of unit tests and dozens of integration tests for a codebase he was working on (we’re not kidding). Pushing himself to new heights is perhaps the reason why he enjoys hiking so much. He loves hiking around the Pacific Northwest, but his favorite is a series of hikes in Colorado that all cross 14,000 feet in elevation (it’s almost tiring just to think about). Josh is currently living in Portland, OR with his new leopard gecko named Murphy.

Kate Kim

Software Engineer

location pin icon
Saratoga Springs, UT

Kate’s consistently positive and curious approach to software development is a mirror of her life outside of work. Kate and her family are world travelers that love to experience a new country with unique food (she’s personally visited over a dozen countries). Kate is special because she effortlessly toes the line between technical and useful. She’s not afraid to speak up when she sees improvements in the code or user experience. She’s highly skilled in React Native, but she also has her hand in React and GraphQL.

Leon Kim

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
South Korea

With a Master’s in computer systems and 44 cited publications, Leon is a font of well-sourced knowledge. He has worked on everything from a medication inspection logging system that utilized computer vision, to security systems and robotics. Leon excels at systems, native-related technology, and debugging. Based in Korea, Leon loves traveling around the globe with his wife to find new and delicious things to eat. He doesn’t sleep a lot and is both a powerlifter and a tea aficionado. Leon’s motto? “Go nuts or stay chill.”

Lizzi Lindboe

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Lizzi’s superpower as a software engineer is her eye for detail without losing the bigger picture. But she doesn’t stop there. She also believes in meeting people where they are – which is why accessibility is core to her approach as a software engineer. She will always push for her projects to be more accessible to users. Lizzi’s meticulous approach to work is perhaps why she looks for the unexpected in the world: whether it’s enjoying improv comedy, a Dungeons & Dragons show, or exploring what art the latest AI algorithm can generate.

Mark Rickert

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Asheville, NC

Mark combines 15 years in software development with experience in a breadth of industries from e-commerce to hardware prototyping. His degree in Management Information Systems further informs his ability to understand the multiple levels on which an app needs to achieve success. A full-time nomad, voracious traveler, and leggings enthusiast, Mark skydives and BASE jumps in locations around the world.

Mazen Chami

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Durham, NC

Mazen is a natural when it comes to teaching: both in his career and community. You can see it in the time he spends mentoring and coaching those around him. Whether it’s teaching React Native for the students at Gaza Sky Geeks or coaching a youth soccer team in his free time, Mazen’s ability to teach is his superpower. His interest in community and culture has led him all over the world, trying whichever food is unique to that place – he even tried rotten shark in Iceland (and lived to tell us about it).

Robin Heinze

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Robin worked in data analytics before attending a coding bootcamp and shifting to software engineering. She has worked as a Ruby on Rails developer, though she’s taken a deep dive into React Native since joining our team. She is also a host of the Infinite Red React Native podcast. A native Oregonian, Robin enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter. She also quilts and sews, and she played cello for 15 years, even touring Italy with her high school orchestra.

Simran Kaur

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Toronto, ON

Simran understands the important role that technology plays in everyday life. She knows how to make something complex seem relatable, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t afraid to dive into the details. Simran’s ability to laser focus on debugging is one of her strengths as a software engineer. She’s not afraid to get into the weeds of a project to make it better. Simran’s also a natural at communicating big, complex topics to the rest of us. In fact, she’s so good at it that Simran and her husband run their very own YouTube channel with over 188K subscribers (yes, you read that correctly).

Trevor Coleman

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Toronto, ON

Trevor thinks deeply about a project’s experience. He looks at it from multiple angles, putting himself into the shoes of the user. But that’s not at all: he cares just as deeply about the experience of the software engineers as well. It’s important to him that React Native is both interesting and fun for the entire team. Trevor’s also someone who knows how to truly make a project memorable. Just ask the Toronto Star: he literally took a rundown seafood karaoke bar and turned it around so dramatically that it was awarded as the “hottest and best bar in the city” (no verdict on the quality of the karaoke).

Yulian Glukhenko

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Yulian is a skilled full-stack developer whose go-to tool is React Native. He’s been described as an “energetic strategist” with a deep knowledge of mobile and web development. Based in Portland, Yulian’s hobby is working on cars, driving cars, cars, and also anything to do with cars.
