Company

Infinite Red has been designing, building and shipping apps remotely for over 10 years. Our team has so many accreditations and skills, we couldn’t possibly list them all. You might recognize quite a few faces from popular React Native blog posts, to JavaScript conferences, podcasts, and the Open Source community. Plus, we’re a pretty fun team to work with (though our opinion might be biased).

Communication

We over-communicate. At every step of the process you will know what to expect, where your investment is going, and how to make it go farther. We treat you like a partner, not just a client.

Community

As developers we owe a great deal to the talent and hard work that goes into free and open source software. We go out of our way to find ways we can serve and lead in the communities that spring up around the technology we use.

Meet Our Team

The people behind the magic at Infinite Red.

Todd Werth

Founder & CEO

location pin icon
Las Vegas, NV

Todd is a leader who excels at bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical. He’s been coding since he was eleven years old, and he’s founded three companies as well as consulted for big names in Silicon Valley. Todd is a health nut who lives with his wife and kitty in the dichotomy of rural Las Vegas. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, Todd would develop a plan to convince the zombies to go vegan, thereby paving the way to the first cross-species cooperative community. What can we say? He’s a visionary.

Jamon Holmgren

Not satisfied to be “just” an experienced programmer in an array of disciplines, he’s also a prolific writer, an award-winning public speaker, and an adjunct professor. A self-improvement aficionado, he takes every opportunity to connect with people and share knowledge through education and outreach. In the zombie apocalypse, Gant will run our much-needed bar, offering up advice, encouragement, and libations in equal measure.

location pin icon
Portland, OR

On the team side, he handles scheduling and ensures everyone has what they need to get the job done. Jed is an accomplished violinist who works on his tiny house with his family in his spare time. He’ll lead our local branch of the Anti-Zombie Human Defense League when the zombie apocalypse hits.

Shawni Danner

Project Coordinator

location pin icon
San Diego, CA

Shawni doesn’t just herd cats—she herds the cat-herders too. She excels at Getting Things Done, whether that’s planning a large event or managing internal projects. From teaching in South Korea to playing community flag football in San Diego, she brings a passionate work ethic and open-minded perspective to everything she does. In the crisis of the zombie apocalypse Shawni will be found sharing her knowledge, delegating tasks, and running around making sure everything’s handled—shouldn’t be much of a change, honestly.

Jenna Fucci

Senior Designer

location pin icon
Denver, CO

Jenna got into art the way most do, by drawing horses and cartoon characters repeatedly. While studying at Southeastern Louisiana University, she discovered a love for design. She is an avid user of Sketch and will happily try to convert anyone who doesn’t believe in the power of symbols. Jenna will be a key member of our defense team during the zombie apocalypse, as long as all she has to fight is zombies (and not moths).

Darin Wilson

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
San Francisco, CA

Darin has been coding professionally since the days when you got help with coding problems by posting on a CompuServe forum over a 300-baud modem. His primary focus is web development (Ruby/Rails and Elixir/Phoenix), but he’s also worked on desktop and mobile apps for everything from banking to social media to robotic arms. In his free time, Darin is a jazz pianist and composer. Expect an elaborate, original jazz suite in honor of the zombie catastrophe, probably in D-minor, which is the saddest of all keys.

Bryan Stearns

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Bryan has been paid to code since the 70s. He was hired at Apple as a teenager, where he worked on the Apple //e, Macintosh, and Newton. Since the Web 1.0 days he's focused on the backend—lately in Elixir, though he really enjoys React Native too. When away from the keyboard, he's probably at the movies, watching or serving beer and popcorn while volunteering at his local historic nonprofit theatre. Bryan's already ready for the zombies; he thinks 1932's "White Zombie", the first feature-length zombie film, was a documentary.

Derek Greenberg

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
San Francisco, CA

Derek has worked in website and mobile app development for over 20 years, calling on a wide range of languages and platforms including Ruby On Rails, React.js, and React Native. In his free time he cooks and volunteers his audio engineering and music production expertise. In the zombie apocalypse, Derek will use his immense store of Halloween paraphernalia to stage a daring escape, then become our culinary caretaker, transforming what would be our 1,205th can of beans into something amazing.

Yulian Glukhenko

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Yulian is a skilled front-end developer whose go-to tool is ReactJS, although recently he’s been delving into more back-end work. He’s been described as an “energetic strategist” with a deep knowledge of web development. Based in Portland, Yulian’s hobby is working on cars, driving cars, cars, and also anything to do with cars. In the zombie apocalypse, Yulian will keep our extensive vehicle fleet going long after other communities have been forced to resort to traveling by skateboard or horseback.

Mark Rickert

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Nomad

Mark combines 15 years in software development with experience in a breadth of industries from e-commerce to hardware prototyping. His degree in Management Information Systems further informs his ability to understand the multiple levels on which an app needs to achieve success. A full-time nomad, voracious traveler, and leggings enthusiast, Mark skydives and BASE jumps in locations around the world. Given that social pressures couldn’t convince Mark to lead a “normal” life, zombies aren’t likely to get in the way either. In the zombie apocalypse, Mark will channel his wanderlust to link disparate communities and locate constrained resources.

Kevin Vangelder

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
Portland, OR

With over 10 years in website and app development, Kevin brings strategic insight and painstaking attention to detail to every project. His specialties are React Native and React Native Windows. As a bonus, he’s a motorcyclist and student helicopter pilot. When the zombie apocalypse hits, Kevin will be the most prepared of us all, having memorized 42 different zombie survival plans organized by likelihood of a given outbreak scenario cross-indexed by the potential number of survivors.

Leon Kim

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
South Korea

Leon is a self-driven programmer with a master’s degree in computer engineering where he studied computer vision and pattern recognition. With a background in automation, robotics, and telecommunications, Leon brings a wide insight to his projects, which these days are usually based in React Native. Leon is a passionate foodie who travels to Hong Kong at least once a year to check how their restaurant industry is doing. In the throes of the zombie apocalypse, Leon will work to reestablish communications across the globe to find other survivors… and eat their food.

Frank von Hoven

Senior Software Engineer

location pin icon
New Orleans, LA

Frank specializes in React Native. Besides developing mobile apps, he is the Executive Editor of the React Native Newsletter. He completed an MBA at Loyola University and is a talented musician who plays eight instruments, sings, composes, and performs in the New Orleans area. Though morale may be low during the zombie apocalypse, Frank’s innumerable musical talents will put a new skip in everyone’s shuffle, alive or undead.

Silas Matson

location pin icon
Portland, OR

Silas has been elbow deep in code since high school. With experience in Ruby on Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, and React.JS, he enjoys building projects that clients will love. He also contributes to numerous open source projects and follows the Dota 2 eSports scene. Silas’s affinity for multiplayer online battle arenas will lead him to start the first zombie v. zombie MMA league. This may or may not end well.

Missy Warren
