React Native for Construction & Field Service

Construction and field apps, built in React Native.

The most expensive app is the one your crew won't open.

The office signs the contract. The crew decides whether it survives past week one. If the daily log won't save in a basement with no bars, the foreman texts the super, snaps the photo on his own phone, and the app you paid real money for quietly turns back into Excel and a group chat. We build the version the crew opens at 6am with gloves on.

One job-site problem at a time.

  • No service, no problem. Save means saved. Half the job site is a dead zone, and a lot of "offline" apps just re-download everything on launch and time out anyway. We build offline-first for real: the drawings, the daily log, and crew hours all live on the phone, fully usable with no signal. Hit save and it's written to local storage and queued, then it reconciles the second a signal comes back. A foreman never re-keys a log and watches it vanish. No lost logs.
  • Photos that don't need babysitting. Punch-list and progress photos get grabbed and compressed in the background, so nobody stands in the parking lot keeping the app open for fifteen minutes. They upload when there's bandwidth and confirm when they land. Inspections and safety checklists run the same path, and so do incident reports, because the audit trail has to hold up the day OSHA shows up.

The crew's hands, the office's systems.

  • Built for the hand holding the phone. Tap targets big enough to hit with work gloves. Screens you can read in direct sun. And one tap where the office software makes you do ten. The crew shouldn't need a training session to file an RFI or close out a change order.
  • It talks to the software your office already runs. Field data flows into Procore, your design tools, your ERP and accounting, so the super isn't re-typing the same numbers into three systems at the end of the shift. Already have an app? We don't do big-bang rewrites: we'll move your iOS or Android app onto React Native one screen at a time, or pick up a stalled build and get it shipping again.

All of it in React Native, so one codebase covers iPhone and Android and a single fix reaches every phone on the crew at once. We've built it for construction ourselves: Weyerhaeuser's Wood Products app, offline-first. Jobber, a field-service app, runs on React Native too.

Senior engineers, in your time zone.

We're a team of about 30, fully remote across the U.S., and an official Expo partner. Ask a question, get an answer that day. When something breaks on a Friday afternoon, the person who picks up is the one who wrote the code. We work alongside your team and build so they can run it after we're gone.

We know construction better than any software company ought to. Our founder Jamon was running heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, and excavators before he had a driver's license, and had already built his own home before he got into tech. Our development approach is grounded in decades of experience.

Questions construction teams ask us

Will it work without a signal? Yes. Offline-first is how we build, not something we bolt on at the end. Your crew works straight through the dead zones, and it syncs when they surface.

Will it run on the phones and tablets our crews actually use? Yes. We build for the rugged tablet and the three-year-old Android, not just the newest iPhone, and React Native stays fast and light through a full shift.

Do you integrate with Procore, Autodesk, and the software we already run? Yes. We can integrate with anything that exposes an API, and we'll work with your back-end development team to set it up safely and securely.

Can you take over an app we already started? Yes. We pick up a stalled app and rebuild it one screen at a time, on your schedule, while your crews keep working. No big-bang rewrite.

Are you really US-based? Yes. A team of about 30, fully remote across the U.S. One team, one time zone, the same workday as yours.
