React Native for Restaurants & QSR

Restaurant and QSR apps,
built in React Native.

Own the guest, or rent them from a marketplace.

Every order through a third-party marketplace costs you a commission and something worth more: the guest, who remembers the marketplace and not you. A first-party app flips that. The order, the payment, the data, and the loyalty stay yours, with ordering and rewards in one place. And it has to hold up at 12:15 on a Friday, because a restaurant app doesn’t fail quietly. It fails in front of a line out the door, a slammed kitchen, and a guest who deletes it on the spot. So we build for the peak, not the demo.

We’ve been building restaurant apps since React Native was new.

One of the first React Native apps we ever shipped, back in 2016, was for a Canadian pizza chain. Since then we’ve built ordering, loyalty, and in-store operations apps for some of the largest restaurant and QSR brands in North America. Most of that work sits under NDA, but we can say this much: we helped one of those chains launch a loyalty app that reached the top ranks of the App Store, and we stayed with the team through the rollout, not just the build. You’ve probably ordered through our work without knowing it.

What we build

  • First-party ordering. Order-ahead, pickup, curbside, and delivery handoff, built to move fast at peak and keep the menu right at every location.
  • Loyalty and rewards. Points, offers, and the first-party data that comes with them, in the same app as ordering so guests actually use it.
  • Restaurant operations and POS. The apps your teams run behind the counter, connected to the POS, kitchen, and back office so the front and the back stay in sync.
  • Rebuilds and team training. We move an existing native iOS or Android app to React Native one screen at a time, on your schedule, and train your team to own it.

We build in React Native, so one codebase ships to iPhone and Android and a fix reaches both at once. It’s what we’ve done for over a decade.

Senior engineers, in your time zone.

You’re going to put us through a vendor security review, and you should. We’re a team of about 30, fully remote across the U.S., and an official Expo partner. Senior people in your own time zone: a question gets answered today, not overnight. We work alongside your engineers and build so your team can run it after we’re gone.

Questions restaurant teams ask us

Can your app handle our lunch and dinner rush? Yes. We build for peak load: order-ahead and payments that hold up when every location fires at once, tested against your busiest hours. The rush is the requirement, not the edge case.

Can mobile ordering and loyalty live in one app? Yes. We build ordering and rewards into one app, so a guest earns and redeems where they order. One login, and the first-party data stays yours instead of a marketplace’s.

How do you handle payments and PCI DSS on mobile? By keeping your app out of scope wherever we can. Tokenized payments and wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay mean your app never touches raw card data, so your PCI scope shrinks. When scope is unavoidable, we build to it deliberately with your payment provider.

Will it integrate with our POS and the systems we already run? Yes. Order-ahead into your POS and kitchen display, loyalty and CRM, payment processors, and the back office you already run. We connect to what you’ve built; we don’t make you rebuild it.

Are you US-based, and will senior people do the work? Yes. We’re a team of about 30, fully remote across the U.S., no offshore handoff. The engineers in your vendor review are the same people on your codebase, working your hours: a question gets answered today, not overnight.

One codebase for iOS and Android? Yes. We build in React Native, so a single codebase ships to both iPhone and Android, and a fix or a new menu feature reaches every guest at once, not in two release cycles.

Tell us what you’re building.
